Reginald Maude’s have been working with Vita Lend Lease (Bovis) supporting the Hospital infrastructure for several years. During this time, our services have been used on electrical installations, structured cabling solutions, breakdowns and ad-hoc services. In addition to this we have been successful, through main contractors, in being awarded several major projects including the Special Baby care Unit, which was completed in 2008. At present as well as our usual Hospital work, we are involved with the Privacy and Dignity Initiative, which involves working across several areas of the Hospital. This Government Sponsored Initiative is designed to ensure the privacy of same sex patients within the Hospital. Work is also due to start on a project through Parkinson Spencer, to install electrical and structured cabling systems in the new Endoscopy Unit. The contract due to commence in November will run into 2010 and will include works such as: - · A new Electrical Installation conforming to 17th Edition Standards. · Structured cabling Infrastructure. · A new Fire Alarm System. · Nurse Call System. . Emergency Lighting.
